- The tour with hotel pickup is simplest. Driving is about 40 miles on Highway 307, roughly 1 hour. Buses and colectivos go to Tulum town, and you then need a separate ride to the ruins.

Practical tips
- GoPros and phones on a selfie stick cost an extra 60 pesos each at the ruins, paid in pesos. Drones and tripods are not allowed.
- No sunblock or repellent before swimming at the cenote, even biodegradable. Wear a rash guard.
