To Mamitas Beach: a 1-minute walk
Take the walkway at Aldea Thai toward the sea and you reach Mamitas Beach in about a minute, roughly 230 ft from the building. Mamita's Beach Club is on the sand at the end of Calle 28, a 3-minute walk, and the nearest of several beach spots you can reach on foot.
To 5th Avenue: a 3-minute walk
Go out through the front gate on Calle 28 and walk up the street, away from the beach. The street jogs a short way to the left at 1 Avenida, then carries on to 5th Avenue, Playa del Carmen's pedestrian street. The nearest corner is about 700 ft from the gate.
On 5th Avenue, turn right for Calle 38 and Calle 40, or left for Parque Fundadores and the ferry. Times are from the gate at an easy pace.

What is on the way
The first blocks already have coffee, tacos and a bar, all within 3 minutes of the gate. On 5th Avenue, Los Chachalacos is one block to the left, at Calle 26, and Ah Cacao one block to the right, at Calle 30.
Beach clubs within walking distance

Evening walks
A simple evening here is a walk to dinner on 5th Avenue, about 3 minutes from the building, or to the restaurants on Calle 38, 7 minutes away. Some of them stay open until 1 am.

For a longer walk, Parque Fundadores and the Portal Maya are 22 minutes south, most of it along 5th Avenue. The owner suggests going early, for the sunrise and fewer crowds.
