Inside the complex
Aldea Thai is on Calle 28 Norte, at the beach, about 230 ft from Mamitas Beach. The complex was built in 2011, and its common areas are newly renovated. Penthouse 315 is on the third floor, where the elevators stop. This page walks through the shared spaces in the order most guests meet them: the pool, the water gardens, the walkway to the sea and the front desk.

The shared pool and the bar
The main pool is long and blue, with palm trees, lounge chairs and umbrellas around it and the building on every side. There is a bar at the main pool, so a drink never means leaving the building.
This is the building's shared pool. Penthouse 315 also has a private pool of its own on the roof, with ocean views, so guests can choose between the shared pool downstairs and the private one at the top of the steps.

The water gardens and the walkway to the sea
The courtyard has a shallow water garden with a stone walkway between the balconies of the building. The walkway toward the sea runs between reflecting pools and statues of Buddha, with white buildings on either side.
The walkway is the way out to the beach. Mamitas Beach is about 230 ft from the building, a 1-minute walk, and our walking guide has the route and the times to 5th Avenue.

Gym, elevators and the front desk
The building has a gym and elevators. The elevators go up to the third floor, where Penthouse 315 is, and pebble steps inside the unit lead up to the private roof. Staff are on duty 24 hours, and the front desk is where guests collect their keys and their wristbands.
Wristbands, arriving and parking
The building gives every guest a wristband as a security rule, so expect to pick yours up with the keys at the front desk.
Taxis stop at the front gate on Calle 28, and you can unload at the front entrance. The garage is reached from Calle 26, and Penthouse 315 comes with one assigned parking space. Tell a driver: Calle 28 Norte y la playa, Aldea Thai.
